Cross Colours is Back!

One of the biggest streetwear brands while I was growing up was Cross Colours.

I had a couple pairs of their bright colored jeans, and tees emblazoned with political and social messages. Their premise was clothing without prejudice, and their clothes were sick!

I was looking around today to see if I could find some old school shirts of theirs on the internet when I stumbled across a website...

I'm glad to hear that they are still around, and still have the same message to purvey in their clothing. Cross Colours remains an oldskool street fashion label that has a social conscious background with a focus on culture, music and the environment.

Their new line uses a number of Cartoon Characters to represent their different themes of clothing:

Curt is fun, creative and optimistic and represents the theme; We are colourful
Cen is the outspoken flashy musician that represent the theme; We are the stars
Cash is old skool and represent the beginning of the brand; We write history
Chris is relaxed, clean and conscious and represent the theme; We are in harmony

Some images from their latest collection which showcased at the 2009 Amsterdam International Fashion Week:

I'm curious to see how the rest of the collection will be, and when we will start seeing their clothes at retailers.

Til then, I'm still searching for some of their original ups...
